So obviously I am out of touch with the Lafayette beer scene... Never heard of Parish beer. Just looking at the bottle and the beer in a glass reminds me of Chimay. Is it similar? How would you guys describe it?

The grand reserve? Probably the best beer to come out of Louisiana.
Silky, sweet and creamy. You'd never guess 11%.
Got one aging now. Probably wont last much longer.
