recall a 2nd or 3rd and 1 or 2 against TCU. The entire LSU defense (line of scrimmage) was literally pushed back about 3 yards on a play up the middle. Zero penetration. Not used to seeing that from a Chavis defense, so im a little concerned, but im not about to sound the alarms unless we start giving up 24+ ppg.

thought: SEC OL are prolly bigger/better.
the concern is, TCU did exceed that point total. Yeah, I know, kick return (nullified by kicking it out of the endzone), and gift possesion inside the 10; but still- that was with Pachall playing the 1st half. If Boykin plays the whole game, they might have gotten a couple drives more.

UAB could have gotten there too, considering we held them on downs (a likely sure 3), and they were about 5 yds out from getting the FG that Beckham ran back.

You gotta think UGA, A&M, and Ole Miss have more offensive talent than we've faced thus far; the one play Auburn runs well is killing us so far; and let's not think Alabama fell off a cliff after "only" winning 35-10 in their opener. For that matter, Arkansas will be a bowl team this year, now that they have a coach again.

We COULD outscore all of them, but 20 pts isn't the magic "winner" line it was in the past. We'll probably need 40's to beat UGA and A&M.
