So I take it you're not inviting the neighborhood kids over to swim in your pool during the summer. Probably wont even allow your own children to have a birthday party cause you're scared someone will stub their toe & sue.

I'm 23, no kids here. It's my parents pond. We let people we know well on the pond, but considering the majority of people are dumb as rocks these days, they'd rather cover their arse even if it costs a few kids some bream/bass.
There's a big difference between having a party with other parents watching their kids (organized function with people we know) and some random person TRESPASSING without you even knowing.
If you wanna blame somebody for this blame the general population for being sue happy.

depends on who they are and what they look like. I didn't spend 25k for a double boat house and dock for a bunch of section 8's fishing off it. I let neighbors and friends....not strangers
