It's always interesting for me as a LSU/49er fan to see both sides of the coin, but I have always wondered if there were any major differences between the two that someone who is a fan of a rival of both teams have noticed?

You should be a fan of the Aggies to go along with the 49ers

The Saints fans are LSU fans with a rival. They're emotional and loudmouthed. If they do well, they're the best team ever, if they do poorly, then they just make insults to other teams. LSU insults everyone, only the Falcons get the Saints' attention.

Difference is Saints fans will always show up for a game, even during losing season, while LSU fans won't.

Probably not much since they are largely the same people.

Most LSU fans are Saints fans except some north LA people. There is a small, loud minority in the Saints fanbase that likes to talk down to LSU fans to make themselves feel good.

LSU fans are dumbasses. Their favorite thing to do is suggest loser LSU players for the Saints to draft or sign.

At the saints game today the golden band from tiger land along with the golden girls performed pre game and a saints fan next to me had no idea whose band was on the field. Surprised the hell out of me that a football fan in Louisiana had no idea what lsu looked like.
