Yeah, but the key difference is between injecting cash just to buy some superstars and injecting it to build a stadium, expand the brand, set up youth squad type teams overseas etc.
For example, many think Pallotta's ultimate move may even be to sell Roma in 10 or so years for a massive profit after building the club's infrastructure instead of losing billions like PSG, Monaco, City, Chelsea.
Pallotta's keen on talking bottom line revenue and how to compete with EPL revenue while building a championship club.
The PSG ownership, for example, is looking at Cagliari but I'd pray they follow the Pallotta model if they buy: stadium, stores and shares before stars .
