I'll be mailing off my documents tomorrow to the TX Department of Safety tomorrow morning.
I took advantage of the Sept. 1st law change that revised the classes from 10 hours to 4 hours. I learned a lot of great info about handgun laws.
And scored a 244/250 on the shooting range test
ETA: Paid only $69 for the class, including range fees.

Be prepared for a long wait. They don't get in a hurry here in Texas. I'm in law enforcement and it took them 4 months. But congrats never the less.

Thanks. Per the laws, it'll take no more than 120 days.
Nevertheless, I'm gonna be buying this little guy for my LCP.

That's an extremely dangerous holster.
Get a pocket holster that covers the trigger. Having an exposed trigger in your pocket is a recipe for disaster.
Check out the Desantis Nemsis. My dad carries his Kahr P380 in one and it is about identical in size to the LCP. It also properly covers the trigger to prevent a negligent discharge.
