Ole Miss--1972. On the field and couldn't hear myself play pregame. In the tunnel for the team to run through, the earth shook as well as the stadium. And capacity then was "only" 68,000....

That 1997 game with Notre Dame was a memorable one (even though we got stomped). It was a day game, but it looked like it was 8 o' clock at night because of the weather. It was dark and the wind was seriously howling. That added in with the fact that Notre Dame coming in to Tiger Stadium was pretty rare made for a frenzied pregame when the band took the field.
