Unless you believe you can win it all (Championship).
Unless your draft grade is not high enough for your.

These are the reasons people stay four years. Almost all of these are determined after years in the program. Think about it, how many players stay for a fifth year, or even want to stay for a fifth year? No coach/school takes away your scholarship unless you got in big trouble so you should be graduating in no more than 4 years.

So again it makes no difference to burn a redshirt on special teams because you basically have 4 years to work with and still 3 full years after cutting your teeth on S/T.
