I think he was a wonderful athlete in search of a position. He certainly wasn't tough enough to play running back or safety. His passing abilities were okay for high school, but did not translate well to college. He looked to be developing as a slot receiver, but never quite got there.
I'm not sure if he shouldn't have been tried at corner - was he ever tried in the secondary?

What tools? He's not fast, not shifty, poor hands, poor route runner. What specific tools does he have?
