This is indeed common language in most releases, however future litigants are not bound by the agreement.

So players who sue in the future can likely point to the settlement as an admission, unless otherwise barred by an evidentiary rule.

Actually, the more I think about it, the newest CBA will probably govern (and prohibit) lawsuits for concussions in the future.

So maybe there won't be any future litigants.
