$765 million is a solid deal for the NFL. If they let even one case be left up to a Judge, the NFL would be fricked.

Better than solid - it's unbelievable. Some numbers for perspective....
We are talking like 25m per team spread over 20 years. That 1m per team per year is less than 1% of the cap today. In 20 years it will be pennies if projections hold true.

If they dumped 100% of the cost on season ticket holders it would be about $1.50 per home game over that stretch

i don't think so
plus there will be opt-outs and this will occur likely
