Any IBD CanSlim or trend following investors?

In the last six months have started dabbling in the market, first starting with IBD and their routine and have kind of gradually gone to more of a trend following philosophy. Not putting a ton of money in , looking at it as more of a hobby as opposed to retirement etc (thats all in other accounts etc).
Stocktwits can be addicting and realize I have much to learn but have read non stop and actually have done pretty decent so far. Only negative was jumping on one that was due earnings because the word it was gonna be good (first thing you learn is not to do this and yep burnt). Anyway only sitting with TASR and GMCR at the moment and so far so good.
So far have learned the more you set rules to follow and have a routine the better the outcome. Emotions play a bigger part of it than thought it would.
