What is the big deal? The Michigan rivalry is one of the biggest in college football. It's a sign he understands what it means.
Michigan does the same stuff. For example, I read a few weeks ago that Michigan coach Brady Hoke never wears red. Where is the outrage at that?

A coach not wearing the rival color of a school is a little bit different then telling NFL scouts they can't wear a rival color (even though it's part of their NFL team's color scheme) and potentially risking pissing off scouts coming to see your players.

Uhm, are you serious?
I don't think it's THAT big of a deal but deciding not to wear red clothes isn't the same as making two grown arse men who are there to scout your team change the clothes they decide to wear that day..
