i know it wouldn't brick but my understanding was that the games you owned would be lost..... so basically brick yeah.... lol

Right... they would magically be deleted just because the machine is sitting there powered off.

You could leave the machine in a closet for a year. Plug it to the web, turn it on, and presto... all your games.

Then you may need to work on your reading comprehension skills.

You just wouldn't be able to play these games if you had not signed in for 24+ hours. Once you signed back in all of your games would be there ready for you to play. Since the speed required to do the check in was so slow, you literally could've tethered your phone to do it.

My issue with it was the window just seemed to small. I feel like they should have set it to something like 72 hours to a week. That or worked on having an offline mode like Steam has.
