I disagree. If this is the best Deadspin can do to somehow expose ESPN for manufacturing stories, then that's pretty weak. Jaws gave an over the top opinion and sports people talked about it for news cycle. Big deal. It's the cool thing to hate ESPN I guess, but the Deadspin article was lame much ado about nothing.

You do realize ESPN does not talk about sports, right? Minus the highlights (which are dominated by big market teams), ESPN is akin to a celebrity gossip show.

Pretty much. The ESPN haters are so lame. I love how they are so excited about FS1 which is going to be just an even more poorly produced, less quality content (gamewise) version of ESPN.
