I don't know why Noah Shebib goes by that moniker "40" it's stupid, I realize he doesn't want anyone to know his background (same as Drake as a kid and teen actor actually having a little success) Drake even calls him Shebib not 40 lol

1 Swizz & Tim track (shoulda been more) and most of the tracks are Boi 1nda

He's not going out of his comfort zone though, call up Slug or some one who is a true hip hop purist and do some songs that will really prove you have the chops or at least try...I would respect Drake if he did that

He doesn't step outside his comfort zone

Cosign. He has his target audience locked up. A

couple of popular features, a few chick songs, and

a club song and you've got yourself a Drake album.

Boi 1nda
It's like every time him and Drake link up it's a hit. I'm excited.

Why do I feel like this statement is false.

Can't really blame him when he's being as successful as he is.

I am dead serious you think"40" is a great producer...no he's not he gets his name added because of his post production work and most artists don't even list a post production guy unless it is Drake's case where he grew up with the kid and still buds, same with Boi 1nda but he at least has some chops in production

Swizz and Tim making a beat together doesn't make sense to me

Drake Revelas "Paris Morton Music II" is on NWTS.
Paris Morton Music

Article
quote:

Not only will the content be different, but Drake's persona has also taken on a new form. "It's a huge change in tone," said the rapper. "Before, Drake was a nice guy. Here, he's stepping up the attitude and playing hardball."
quote:

40 also shared some insight on the album's opener "Tuscan Leather". “It’s a three-staged record – one sample flipped three different ways, with a verse over each beat,” he revealed.?
Looks like that leaked tracklist was a fake.
quote:

Drake insisted that the standout track from the album was “Paris Morton Music II” (the first you may recognize from being featured in Rick Ross' "Aston Martin Music"). “That track excites me from a rap standpoint, just getting off bars and different flows,” he said. “I played it for J. Cole, on some rap buddy-buddy shit, and he was like, ‘Damn!’”

I know most of yall dont like Drake because of his R&B style incorporated into his rap music. Well, don't look for that in the upcoming album.
quote:

The new album largely does away with the purely slow songs that can be found on stretches of previous Drake albums, mostly confining R&B elements to hooks, bridges and atmospherics. As a result, the collection hits harder and more frequently than his earlier material, with Drake putting his rapping prowess at the forefront.
