Good post alatiger.

IMO, we need to keep our foot on aTm's throat. We need to make sure we don't have another big threat in our back yard.

It is aggravating that these coaches help Saban still but there's Alabama alum coaching here and coaches with ties to LA. Idk what to do about it but I don't doubt that they're plants.

Truthfully, we haven't lost too much to Saban considering all variables. I'm glad we have put in enough work to keep him at bay.

I think we land Cam Robinson FWIW. But I don't like battling bama for our own kids every year. You bring up a lot of good points in this thread.

And yeah, we are getting more national with our recruiting. We're a few players from forming a little NJ and IL pipeline. But we need to keep our boarders sealed for years like this. Our La guys are always underrated so we need to keep taking our guys and cherry pick others.

I agree that we need to start giving the state of Alabama more looks. Maybe on a year that we can afford to though bc there's just too much to be had out of La and Tx this year. We recruit hard out of Texas, la and Florida so it's hard to form pipelined when were all over the place. I do think we should start planting coaches in Alabama.

No we don't. That's why Saban is recruiting players in LA, TN, GA and FL.

The talent is good, but not at the same level as these other states.
