I hadn't even thought of that. Might give it a try.
I really don't mind canned green beans. Or potatoes. And they're quick. And I'm a poor student so I have to save where I can

buying fresh vegetables is cheaper .. i.e. - a better value, actually.

Drain can and and rinse with water, takes a lot of the salt out and makes them taste lots better
