What was the technique for getting across the horizontal ladders? Did you walk upright or crawl?

You walk upright. There are 2 x4 boards laid on it to step on. Your crampons wanted to stick into them a bit. It flexed a good 6-7 inches when you got out in the middle of it. Biggest issue was the 30-40 mph winds and that you had to move slowly across it; no sudden or jerky moves.
