That is a dick move on the cops.

They didn't know they were cops, some dude just told them to stop using foul language and because they didn't they got arrested?

Wow. At around age 17 you are cocky. I've been in such a similar situation at that age so I can relate. Was in court for a traffic ticket and a policeman came up on me sitting in court and just started sniffing on me to which greatly offended me.. (I never drank or did any drugs) and as he walked away I simply said under my breath, "you arse" I didn't even say a-hole and he turns around and comes to arrest me and I freaked out and resisted. I even pushed the guy down and ran out.. Eventually stopped and turned myself over after my initial freak out. Doesn't make you a bad person at all and I never had to serve any community time (that is CRAZY) got a lawyer and since it was my only violation they took it off.

By the way while I was in jail they took my phone and wallet initially at a book in.. then they took me in another room and searched me more and took two 20 dollar bills out of my pockets and said thanks and kept it to themselves. Which I had no say in to get back at all and never went into my possessions. I never saw that 40 dollars again. Stole it from me.

Definitely no issue with Rickey Jefferson moving forward here.

it's pretty shitty that cops have the authority to arrest you for calling him an a-hole, or frickING a-hole, even.
