That's what I've been thinking for a while.
He doesn't tackle all the well, and he can't cover for shite.
The one thing he does well is rush the passer.
According to PFF, the area where Smith is struggling the most is pass rushing, which should be his bread-and-butter.
He's actually doing better in run defense.

that would be good if that holds up and we bring in tez mania for 3rd down rushes.
