Saw Sound City on Palladium last night

I was fascinated by the rise and demise of the studio. I never realized how much of the music I grew up with was created there. Also, I was never a huge Paul McCartney fan but in this flick the old man brings it.

Pretty good little flick. I do wish they would have spent more time on the studio itself though. Some of it felt very haphazard.
I did enjoy the part where the guy was explaining how the board works to Grohl and he is just smiling and the little "surely he knows I am a high school dropout" caption pops up
