What is wrong with that assessment?

What if the pay isn't an issue for some? I know several who've done MS/HS football coaching because they enjoy it.

Chopique is a supporter of HS and youth coaches. His comment was directed at the assholes who are overly critical of them.

The key word is some. There are good coaches out there, and there are some great people involved in the schools. But are you denying that there are many people who would make great coaches but they refuse to join a profession that requires so much time, so many headaches, and such little pay?

In every town there are many youth baseball, soccer, basketball, and football teams coached by dads who say that they just love the game. If they love the game so much, why don't they enter the teaching/coaching profession?
