I'm thinking of going there for Labor Day weekend and want to play a nice course. I'm used to nice courses in Scottsdale. Price doesn't matter.

Any advice?

Salt Lake doesn't have too many good courses, but there are a ton within 30 minutes.

Soldier Hollow in Midway is nice. About 30 minutes from SLC.

If you drive to Park City, they have Promontory, a course designed by Pete Dye. Mountain Dell course on the way to Park City is also fairly nice.

Have also heard good things about Eaglewood, which is in North SLC.

My inlaws live there so I have played a lot of golf and there.

Try the Mountain course at Wasatch State Park and The Homestead (both in Midway) as well as Soldier Hollow (more of a links design). You will have a nice mountain drive, but worth it.
