re: Great reddit writeup on why Qatar 2022 is a disaster

- Chicago wasn't even one of the final 18 host cities in the 2022 bid because Soldier Field is too small.

- There would have been other small renovations to some stadiums surely, but no new stadiums would be built other than an Atlanta stadium.

- The Rose Bowl is the only college stadium that was in the final bid, I believe.

The 18 stadiums/host cities are found in this document (along with the quoted list above): LINK

The 18 cities are:
Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, Seattle, Washington DC.

They would have possibly reduced that number to 16 or some other number after being selected as hosts. I would imagine San Diego would have been near the top of the list because Qualcomm Stadium is a POS.

Basically all of what I said was found in this PDF which was the Bid Analysis that the guy in the reddit post was talking about. I just had to post because some of you guys didn't seem to know what you were talking about.
