Giving up almost 500 yds, bout 50% on 3rd down conversions, and 25 pts doesn't equate to "great" play on the part of any LSU D I have watched play.

That 4th and 16 conversion they gave up for 25 yds in the last minute was terrible to behold.

Not saying the O wasn't a lot more disappointing, but I can't give the D a A rate rating.

To be fair, if the Offense cannot stay on the field for more than 2 minutes per drive, and the Defense has to play the majority of the game, no one should blame the D for giving up too many yards, because they are simply playing defense scrimmage solely against an explosive offense and they will get tired eventually.
