True, but the offense was so bad in that game that LSU never had a chance. I kept thinking a play or two could get them back in, but the whole team looked shell shocked. I've never seen a 21 point loss in which one team was so outplayed.

yeah, the special teams and defense played admirably but the gap between LSU's offense and Bama's defense on that day was as large of a gap as you'll ever see.

in retrospect we should have known it was coming. there were echos of that same lack of production early in the Arkansas game and for the entire first half against UGA in the SEC CCG.
