they'll be lucky to go 10-6, IMO.

Come on... you might be pushing it with that. I'll bet you they get into the playoffs if you want.

i think they get into the playoffs at 10-6. but based off their schedule, that would be a hell of an accomplishment. 3rd toughest SOS heading into the season. a span of 4 straight weeks vs. cowboys, 49ers, falcons, and seahawks. oomph. won't be easy.

cowboys,

SNF at home. I'll take the Saints in any home prime time game.

49ers

Definitely the top pick for many people out of the NFC. I think Kaepernick comes back down to earth. Luckily we get them at home also. The Saints owe them an arse beating.

falcons

Worried about this one, mainly because of the short space between the 49ers game and this one.

seahawks

Arguably the toughest place to play. I'd chalk this one as a loss, but the fact the Harvin won't be there gives the Saints a better chance.

I think they split 2-2 likely between these 4. The first 4 games will be crucial. They need to be 3-1 at the very worst heading into week 5.

What sucks about both the Pelicans and Saints is that they are both in brutal divisions and conferences. The West has a few locks, but damn near the entire conference has a shot at the playoffs. The NFC is brutal.

Making the NBA playoffs is a lot easier than making the NFL playoffs. I'd say the odds are higher for the Pelicans to get in the playoffs, but the Saints actually have a chance at a championship right now, if they get in (will likely need a top 2 seed though).
