Not sure if it's that article or another I read recently, but Cam flat out says "that's pretty much how it works everywhere".

Well, it did put it in context. Often, it's portrayed here as meddling from the head coach. I think Cameron does a good job explaining how it works and why it should be that way pretty well here.
Yeah, it's not a huge revelation, but it is good "shut up," information for people who complain about Les meddling with the OC.

I don't understand how some of you don't see the double standard. First of all, when LSU drills a winless Auburn 12-10 some posters complain that Les Miles is "meddling in the offense". The Les Miles fanboys will cry, I watched the game, and Les isn't calling the plays. Coach Stud is the OC. But now, when Cam Cameron says, "Of course the head coach has input, it's like that everywhere." The same Les Miles fanboys jump in and say, "You see, it happens everywhere."
So what is it, the steaming pile of mediocrity that has been the LSU offense for the last 4 years has been the fault of 2 different offensive coordinators? Or now you are saying that Les Miles is "like other head coaches" so he stays very involved in the offensive direction, so I guess you are saying that the one constant in the last 4 years passing offense ranked in the 100s is Les Miles?
Quick question, how much input does Les Miles give to John Chavis?
