re: Gun ? for birth of 1st son

Too bad on missign the A5 - my Grandfather has several and I always have loved those guns. I domnt have one myself.

I still need to find the perfect heirloom shotgun for my little guy - he just turned 4.

I dont know what I am looking for, jsut that I want it to be a nice wood stock and soemthing he can pass down to kids / grandkids of his own some day.

I have a Mossburg 500 20ga for him to learn with already, but I'm still looking for something special.

Like has been mentioned. A life time Liscense is a great goft for a young child. I got his right before he turned two. The price goes up at 2 yrs old, again at I think 12 and then is full price at 16. Before 2yrs old it was I think $250 for the combo. Full price right now is $700 and it will only go up as time passes.
