I'll never forget. Had just seen them in DC with Hornsby 1 1/2 months before. Was getting psyched for Fall tour.
My friend from DC called and said, "Jerry is dead. ". I was like "no way, that rumour pops up all the time.". She said it was all over MTV. My heart sunk.
Hard to believe that was almost 20 years ago.
