Just saying that I've read that others will push him.

They weren't. He's a star in practice and would have started as long as he wasn't hurt or suspended. Every report from practice (this year and last) indicates he's special. Just a pure playmaker. And we're replacing him with someone w/ no real big time college experience, it's a big deal.

Clearly, it isn't the case with us either.

You were the one commenting about our drug test and suspension standards.

I'm not sure why UGA fans are the ones who are most upset about Hill. I don't get it.

Miles will do what he has done before. Allow the player to dress and I'm thinking right now that we don't even see Hill against TCU. But we will win the game by a decent enough margin that the media will spin it as, "Miles had Hill ready to play just in case, only deciding when the game was in hand that he didn't need him."

i kind of want hill to play now too since the national media has all brought out their pitchforks before the punishment was even announced. i know thats backwards logic but screw it at this point.

no kidding, but I really think Les will dress him but not play him

Patrick doesn't care for Les' way. He also thinks that Les literally left it to his team to decide punishment.

I love Dan and his show, but when he talks about the SEC, and for the most part, college football, I cringe. He really doesn't understand it and tries to cover it with blanket statements. I hope he looks at the Hill situation rationally. He actually hasn't been too irrational about the Manziel situation, so maybe he'll do the same here.

well then you can add patrick as another media outlet who doesnt understand the difference between being allowed back on the team and the punishment that has yet to come down.

you can blame les if you want, but its not his fault people in the media can't understand that simple concept.

also im not really sure how those votes go but i was always under the assumption that first the player had to get miles approval, and then secondly the teams. someone correct me if im wrong.

I expect hill to sit the first 2 games at least. I don't think tcu is a good enough opponent to where you would consider doing what we did with ryan baker in 2011 and let him play the opener but sit him against northwestern st.

even if he does play against tcu it will probably be a healthy dose of blue and hilliard with a season's worth of jc Copeland fullback dives.

He did acknowledge that Les said he was going to keep the punishment internal, but kind of laughed it off.

Exactly right. Miles isn't going to bring a guy back that his teammates don't want. One bad tree can poison the whole orchard.

I want Miles to sit Hill and after we blow out TCU say that we didn't need him for this game. Patterson needs to worry less about whether Hill plays and more about his team not getting raped.

DP has been a bit more critical of Les ever since his "conversations" with Arkansas last year. To be fair, he has had him on the show a couple times since then.

The amount of holier-than-thou ignorance that Dan spewed during this whole thing was amazing.

Again, I love Dan, and find that he's probably the most fair sports journalist out there, but there are certain things, namely the SEC, that he just doesn't understand.

Yeah, he has a huge beef with college coaches in general.

And to the OP, I would call this more than a jab. This is more of a left hook or even an uppercut
