While the first part of your statement is true, the latter is not. We cannot afford to take only one back in this class, no matter how many we plan on taking in 2015.

Look at how thin the prospective depth chart will be after this season:

Blue, a senior, is definitely gone.
Hilliard, Hill, and even Magee are all draft-eligible after this season as well. I'm not saying that even one of them for sure leaves, but it isn't unthinkable.

Aside from the aforementioned quartet of backs we have on the roster in 2013, there isn't a player that is "locked into" another year of eligibility. Thus, we need to beef up our numbers in the backfield ASAP.
