If it's "only" a broken ankle, I think he could be back probably after the mid point in the season. Would love to see him excel here to carry on the Peterson name and how much he loves LSU.

yes, one of the strange things about an ankle is that a broken ankle (depending, obviously, on the nature of the break) can sometimes heal faster than a severe high ankle sprain.

This is possibly the worst thing that could have happened. All of the other true freshman will be ahead of him by the time he returns. He'll definitely be redshirting now.
