A reminder to not drink and boat (NSFW graphic)

Yesterday a good friend of ours fell off of a boat. Everyone on the boat was drunk. None of their stories of what happened really match up, but the best I can gather is that she was standing on the bow, the moron driving slammed the boat in reverse causing her to fall into the water, then slammed it into forward (apparently was so drunk he didn't know she had fallen in) and ran over her. She sustained horrible injuries from the prop (broken shoulder, broken hip, broken ribs, collapsed lung, her spleen was sliced to pieces, etc)
These are the least graphic pictures.
If you could see her back, it's a miracle she's still alive. She was nearly cut in half

Holy shite.
That dude deserves an arse beating and someone needs to take his boat.

Wow....definitely a great reminder of the dangers of boating and drinking. I can't believe she survived that. Good luck to her.

She won't soon forget that little lesson nor should the driver. Can we assume he ended up with a conversation involving law enforcement?

A horrible reminder of what not to be doing on the water. Sorry about your friend and prayers for her to through!

Did the operator take a boater's safety course and have his La. Boater's License?

I don't know why anyone is putting any blame on the girl. There is no indication that she was doing anything run. The OP doesn't say she was standing on the bow as the boat was underway. It says she was standing on the bow when Capt. frickhead threw the boat in reverse and tossed her...the ran her over.
Anyone know where this happened?

Responsible boating needs to be brought up to the boater.
Regardless of the situation, the owner/operator of the vessel should remain coherent and sober to avoid situations like this.
I can only imagine the pain she went through coupled with fear during and after the incident.

We get pretty damn drunk fishing offshore but we can all handle our booze and never have a captain that can not operate a boat or guys on board that can't handle their booze and the work that goes with offshore fishing
