When is it time to freakin cut bait on this guy? Tons of money to eat but I don't see any upside to having this guy on the team or in the lineup.Maybe as a pinch runner or defensive replacement but haven't beem impressed with his outfield abilities this year either.

I remember the first week of the year when Barves fans were jizzing their pants over him. Multiple people, including myself, warned you not to get overly excited. I made the mistake of having him in fantasy baseball for a year. NEVER AGAIN. Sorry Barves fans. Gotta cut and run with him imo.

Unfortunately I think if we ever do cut or trade him Justin will intentionally tank until he is also cut or traded. We sadly are stuck with BJ if we are to keep Justin happy.

There's no way we're going to be "cutting bait" with him anytime soon. Currently there's no doubt that we're better with Gattis in the lineup playing LF, but BJ will be given a chance to play CF and Gattis will be back to his role as a fill-in at catcher and in the OF. If BJ doesn't start hitting by the postseason, then we'll probably see Gattis get more ABs and BJ will come off the bench as a runner or defensive replacement.

I never liked the signing, but I still forgave it because I believe it was crucial in bringing Justin Upton to want to come.
