You should have never been in the game.

If we weren't in the game, then that would be the equivalent of handing you the national championship before the game was played — just like Alabama in 2012 (Notre Dame was overrated).

1. Having to beat the Big 12 champ is not "handing" LSU the title.

2. FWIW 2011 Okie > 2012 ND. By a lot. Okie had a scary good offense.

3. It'll sound weird saying this, but by logic LSU was the only team who deserved the NC at the end. Another bowl game was not necessary. No one else was undefeated. I know that's not realistic but it's logical.
