We beat you at your own home already.
I know the mulligan game made that irrelevant, but in the history of college football, it wasn't. Once you do that to an opponent in a season, that question is resolved.
You should have never been in the game.

I'm surprised no one is talking about the Ohio State/Michigan scenario. Remember when they were number 1 and 2 in the polls respectfully and Ohio State had just beat them in the last game of the season. Really if they would have gone with number 1 and 2, Ohio State and Michigan would have played again. Though, people didn't want that because they were both in the same conference and already played each other. No one wanted to see that match up. That's when Florida was selected for the National Championship game and well we all know what happened there.
I just found it strange how everyone was so against that happening and years later they vouched for the Bama/LSU game to happen.

If we weren't in the game, then that would be the equivalent of handing you the national championship before the game was played — just like Alabama in 2012 (Notre Dame was overrated).
