SA is a pretty tough grass to grow in and keep up. Sounds like youve got the watering down, the shade is a killer on SA though.

Chinch bugs are more prevalent in the Southeast, but are known to kill the roots of SA. You might grab some sevin dust and put it out one evening. Might surprise you whats laying in your yard the next day.

thanks i'll look into the sevin dust....i just did a soil test kit and this got a low ph, which i'm not surprised by.....


I guess i need to add some lime?
