Well if suspended he would forfeit remaining salary this year and all of next year so Yankees in essence will find some savings.

They'll let him serve his suspension (they won't pay him anyway) then cut him.

Owed 114 million left (counting this season) if he is suspended last 65 of this season and all of next Yankees would save about 40 million. Still owing him a good deal but way his contract is set up last 3 years is like 21 million a year. Plus it isn't my money so not really bothered by it.
2015- 21 million
2016- 20 million
2017- 20 million
