That's really not bad at all. Gotta remember, he was just 18 going into pro ball. People often start in Rookie League and work their way up from there, not sure if that's the case with him though. So logical progression means that AA ball at age 22 or 23 really is actually pretty good. And with a 3.23 ERA, nonetheless. Bottom line, being in AA at age 23 and pitching (seemingly) pretty well is in no way an indicator that his days in baseball may be dwindling.

Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking. 4 years and I immediately thought 25-26 even though I know he came straight out of high school.
