So you're saying he would average those yards with about 15-20 touches a game. That's like watching Hill score a 15 yard run and saying his average is 15 yards per rush. You can't honestly believe that he should have played over Hill, Blue, Ford, Ware, etc...
And if you re-watch the snaps at receiver you can see that lots of times he ran the wrong route or missed the catch. While Beckham had a down year, he's noticeably a way more natural receiver who deserved more snaps.

Wing and Mettenberger averaged more yards per touch in 2011 than Shep, we should have found a way to get them the ball more.

It's possible. His career yard per carry average is impressive. To dismiss it is idiotic.
He had skills, they just didn't fit in at LSU.
