It has been around a long while now and is a favorite of SFP.
Most people use it, as others have said, when they have no counter or nothing to add to a conversation. Or, in SFP's case, they just want to frick with someone that is being an idiot.

Does Oden drawing out the decision making process help or hurt our chances of getting him? Seems like he's waiting on the Heat to offer something worth taking. I was feeling pretty good about our chances after the 'most intrigued with Heat, Pelicans, decision could come as soon as Monday' tweet, but after sitting on it a few days I am starting to think he just wants Miami to offer a little more than the minimum. Is he just using us as leverage?

His non stop defense/attack derailed this thread pretty good. That's probably reason enough for a timeout. This board is higher profile than it used to be so they expect us to produce a higher quality product.
