It is interesting that we have not seen a similar quotation of Coach Bertman by the media members in attendance.
Such a statement deserves corroboration. I hope there is a follow-up.
This is THE story of LSU's offseason.
If Coach Miles wanted Hill gone, he would be.
I know the American media hype machine will tell you Hill is a Zimmerman-like thug, but he isn't.
Although the video clip from the wee hours in TigerTown are great for TV and sensationalism, it really reveals a fact that it is not easily construed; especially by Alabama fans.
Watch the video again. Jeremy Hill allowed that guy to live after he allegedly called him a "****." That proves Hill is compassionate; possessing the strength and power of a bull, he could have easily killed the kid.
In hindsight, it looked as if he was just playing with him--much like a cat does with a mouse.
Kicking Jeremy Hill off the team for that would be a tragedy for Jeremy Hill and LSU Football.
Joey Belle likely agrees.
My apologies to George Zimmerman, the hero, as I used him to make a point.
Good luck to Jeremy Hill this season. I sincerely hope he surpasses his freshman production totals.
