The issue here is that you are of the opinion that your hearsay is the absolute truth, when it is at odds with the overwhelming majority, which in many cases have sources better (more credible) than your own. Furthermore, when discrepancies in your information are pointed out and called into question, you are simply brushing it aside. The only conclusion that can be draw at this is that either you or your source is not credible. This is known as logic, not butthurt.
