What do you like about Castro so much?

The bad far outweighs the good at this point. He's not a guy to build around. Be proactive & get some pieces. He's not a Theo type player to begin with

No it doesn't.

He's been asked to try to change his approach in a lost season...why the hell not. Or is someone really going to try to tell me this is based solely on his 2012 production and not the sample you have from this year?

Why'd they sign him to that contract then?

"The way it was looking, Starlin would be a free agent far too early," Cubs general manager Jed Hoyer said on Tuesday. "He's a big part of our future and we had four years of control of him after this year. By doing this deal we now have eight.

"... He's one of the players we're building around and we're excited to have him as a Cub for a long time and he's a big part of our future. We're building a young core and Starlin's right in the middle of that. We're really excited about it. This is about him. It's certainly not about me. But this is a very good day for the Cubs."

Dont' get me wrong, i'm quite frustrated with him right now, but i'm not trying to dump the guy becuase he's not playing great on a shitty team.
