I expected the Yankees to make Cubs eat more of that contract.... I expect Yankees to let Granderson walk this offseason and run out Gardner in CF, Soriano LF, and Ichiro in RF with Wells rotating in as well and he/Soriano splitting DH next season.

sounds like yanks are only paing about 7 million of his remaining contract. Right about where it was expected to be, perhaps a little low.
