Entirely different market, and could cost the conference more money in the end.

If AL and GA play in the regular season, they don't meet in ATL.

AL w/ Saban in the BCSNCG is more profitable for the conference as a whole than any other team.

Not necessarily but certainly easier for each if they dont play each other, I get the point.

if this is the case, it certainly needs to be questioned and exposed.

Personally, i dont think its that complicated. I think its simple homerism of the Bama alums running the show.
