No you obviously don't get it. When you buy a used game over a new game then that is one less copy the publisher and devs move and one less they get paid on. So in a sense you saving $5 on a used game actually cost them more since their license fee per game is more than $5.

At the same time, one pre-release copy that sony sells as DD on the PSN for $10 less is one less copy that can used to trade in.
