Stephen Rivers and Rob Bolden...do you think these guys will ever see the field?

So do you think these guys will ever see the field again? I was so excited about them at the start of last year, but it just doesn't seem that they've generated much attention. Is Jennings going to beat them out or will we see more of these guys in 2013 and 2014?

I just started another thread asking the Rant's thoughts on Rettig vs Harris. I guess we can have a similar discussion on Rivers and Bolden. Personally I would hate to see them leaving without ever getting on the field, but anyone who has seen AJ10 throwing the ball would be convinced that he is a much more talented QB compared to Rivers and Bolden and he is younger, so unfortunately Jennings, if not Harris, probably will beat them out in 2014.

Prefer Jennings as well.. but then again might as well just hope it's the best guy.

I never considered Bolden as an actual option for us at QB. Rivers however is still the 2nd string guy IMO because you're not gonna throw a freshman in there in a bad situation. Next Spring they will open up competition but for now its Rivers who will get that chance outside of the Jennings gimmick offense plays.

I thought Bolden transferred

..just wait until we use Bolden to run all of these option plays, you know, because he's a black guy playing QB..
..even though we had like -56 yards rushing at Penn St.

Stephen Rivers will play a bunch this year. Cam Cameron seemed very high on him in that interview the other day.

Rivers-yes....Bolden-no.
Rivers will get the final couple of drives in the 2 cupcake games after TCU and will be the first guy in should something happen to Mett early in the season.
I think Jennings will play the Perrilloux role as early as game one, assuming we are handling TCU by 7-10 points during most of the game. If Jennings handles his role well during the 5 game SEC stretch, he very well could be the #2 guy by the time will play Furman.
This is the best shape we've been in as far as qb's are concerned in a while.

Why would anyone be excited about either of these players.............

No
ETA: Well, Rivers already saw the field, albeit briefly.
